It’s ridiculous how happy and excited reading stuff about language, etymology, books, etc. makes me. I seek it out and can consume hundreds of pages of dry theory, all the time thinking “THIS IS SO COOL!” And then I talk about it incessantly to people who are foolish enough to smile and maybe even ask a question or two. Because I love it.
