Last night I went for exhausted drinks with my best friend. Exhausted because I’d had a very early morning, and because I knew I’d have an early morning today too, but friend had been asking to get together for a bit so I felt bad saying no.

Friend gave me very lovely belated birthday present.

I promptly forgot birthday present at bar, or possibly taxi.
